GM/Sr.GM (Admin)

• Essential qualification: Bachelor’s degree of a recognised University/Institute in a suitable discipline.
• Experience required: Administrative functions within a government department, PSU or government-affiliated organisation, for administrative and policy matters; working knowledge of Government of India rules, CCS (Conduct) Rules, GFR (General Financial Rules), Delegation of Financial Powers Rules and related instructions; preparing official correspondence, office orders and circulars; assisting in preparation of budget estimates, expenditure monitoring and administrative approvals; supporting contract management, vendor empanelment and procurement under GFR and GeM guidelines; and maintaining confidentiality and proper custody of office documents per record management rules.

Selection Process

NeGD does not conduct a written exam for these posts. Selection is through screening of the application, document verification and an interview.

1. Applications are received through proper channel in the prescribed proforma (Annexure I).
2. Applications are screened against the deputation-eligibility level, qualification and experience set for each post.
3. If not already routed through proper channel, the candidate’s application must be complete — with vigilance clearance/integrity certificate and attested copies of APARs (Annual Performance Appraisal Reports) for the last five years — by the time of interview, or it will not be considered.
4. The candidate must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in the prescribed format at the time of interview; applications without a proper NOC will not be considered.
5. Selected candidates are deployed on the post as per their grade pay and NeGD’s terms and conditions.
