Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Research Scientist: M.E. / M.Tech or M.Sc / M.Sc Tech in relevant specializations with a minimum of 60% (or CGPA 6.5) for M.E./M.Tech and 65% (or CGPA 6.84) for M.Sc.
- Project Associate-I: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 65%.
- Project Associate-II: B.E. / B.Tech or M.Sc in relevant fields with two years of experience in Research and Development.
- Project Scientist-B: M.Sc / M.Sc Tech / M.Tech or B.E. / B.Tech in relevant disciplines like Geology, Geoinformatics, or Agriculture.
- Project Scientist-I: M.E. / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology.
- Junior Research Fellow: Master’s degree in relevant sciences or M.E./M.Tech in Remote Sensing & GIS, plus qualification in NET/GATE or equivalent national-level examinations.

Age Limit (As of August 21, 2026)
- JRF and RS (M.Sc based): Maximum 28 years for UR/EWS, 31 years for OBC, and 33 years for SC/ST.
- RS (M.Tech based): Maximum 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC, and 35 years for SC/ST.
- PA-I, PA-II, PS-I & PS-B: Maximum 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, and 40 years for SC/ST.

Salary Details
- Research Scientist: ₹56,100 plus HRA and DA.
- Project Associate-I: ₹31,000 plus HRA.

- Project Scientist-B: ₹56,000 (with a 5% increment every two years subject to review) plus HRA.
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 plus HRA.
