Should you apply?
The posts suit West Bengal candidates who hold a BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, D-Pharm or GNM qualification and can read, write and speak Bengali. They do not suit candidates from outside the state. The notice asks for permanent residence.
The Jhargram NHM recruitment offers contractual work, not a permanent post. The notice says the Samiti engages personnel purely on a contractual basis. That is the main trade-off against the fixed monthly salary.
Competition will differ by post. Staff Nurse has only 2 posts, so each seat is tight. The Male and Female Medical Officer posts are filled separately, and marks decide every selection. Candidates with high Class 10 and Class 12 scores hold an edge.
