Eligibility

Master’s Degree in the specific subject with at least 55% marks. Plus M.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment) with at least 55% marks, or a B+ grade on the UGC 10-point scale, or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognised by RCI. An active CRR Number is mandatory.

Desirable: NET or SLET, M.Phil or Ph.D. in the specific stream, and at least two years’ teaching or research experience.

Legal Consultant (Post 7)

LLB or LLM with three years’ relevant legal experience in the government sector. Preferred experience covers court cases, Supreme Court matters, and High Court proceedings.

Rehabilitation Psychologist (Post 8)

M.Phil in Clinical Psychology or Rehabilitation Psychology from an RCI-recognised centre. Valid CRR Number required.

Desirable: One year’s teaching or clinical experience.

Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (Post 9)

Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (ID/HI), or D.Ed./B.Ed. in Special Education in ASD, CP, DB, ID, or MD stream.

Development Therapist (Post 10)

PGDRP or Diploma in Autism, CP, DB, or BOT. RCI Registration required.

Desirable: M.Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology.

Special Educator — Multiple Disabilities (Post 11)

Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. RCI-recognised diploma or degree in Special Education (Multiple Disability). Valid CRR Number.

PGT Computer Science (Post 12)

At least 50% marks in B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT), M.Sc. (CS)/MCA, B.Sc. (CS)/BCA with PG degree, or DOEACC B Level or C Level with relevant PG qualification (full list in the notification on niepvd.nic.in). B.Ed. Special Education (V.I.), valid CRR Number, and knowledge of Braille are required.

PGT Chemistry, English, Physics (Posts 13 to 15)

Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, or a two-year integrated PG course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT. B.Ed. Special Education (V.I.), valid CRR Number, proficiency in Hindi and English medium, and knowledge of Braille.

TGT English (Post 16)

Bachelor’s degree with English in all three years and at least 50% marks in aggregate, or a four-year integrated degree from a Regional College of Education of NCERT. B.Ed. Special Education (VI) and a pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.

Bal Vatika Teacher (Post 17)

12th pass with at least 50% marks. D.Ed. Special Education (VI) or BA B.Ed. Special Education (VI). Valid CRR Number.

Sports Trainer — Female Candidates Only (Post 18)

B.S.Ed. from a government-recognised, NCTE-approved institute, or graduation in Physical Education, or a regular Bachelor’s degree with a Diploma from NSNIS or an equivalent three-month coaching certificate from a government-recognised, NCTE-approved institute. Must have represented at the international, national, state, or inter-university level as a player.

Selection Process
