The CGEPT admit card 2026 for the Coast Guard Enrolled Persons Test, Batches 01/2027 and 02/2027, will be available for download two to three days before the exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) published an important notice on 6 November 2026 confirming the timing and the download steps. The computer-based exam (CBE) is scheduled for 17 and 18 November 2026.
The notice says the admission certificate will “tentatively” be available, so the exact release date is not fixed. Counting back from the exam dates, candidates should expect the e-admit card around 14 to 15 November 2026. This is our estimate, not an official date. Check the portal daily from 13 November.
Quick facts: Exam on 17 to 18 November 2026 (CBE). Admit card tentatively 2 to 3 days before the exam. Download from the Indian Coast Guard exam portal after logging in with your registered credentials. Read every instruction printed on the e-admit card.

What the Notice Says About Exam Cities and Details
The SSC notice states that candidates can view both the details by following the procedure above. Your admit card carries your exam date, shift, reporting time and exam centre. Always rely on the details printed on your own e-admit card, not on a friend’s or on a general schedule.
Instructions to Follow on the E-Admit Card
SSC has told candidates to read the instructions printed on the e-admit card and follow them strictly. In our earlier coverage of the recruitment notification, we noted these identity and document rules for Stage-I. Verify them against your own admit card:
- Carry one printout of the e-admit card.
- Carry the original identity proof you uploaded in your application, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License or Passport.
- Carry two passport-size colour photographs.
- The exam records your left thumb biometric. If it fails, the right thumb is used. Mehndi or wax on the thumb can stop the machine from reading it.
- Your signature and identification mark must match your online application.
Warning: a failure in any identity check can cancel your candidature. Arrive early and avoid anything that may block the biometric scan.
