How to Download the BSF HC Admit Card 2026

Follow these steps once the link is live on 22 October 2026:

  • Visit the BSF Recruitment Portal at rectt.bsf.gov.in.
  • Open the link for the HC (RO)/HC (RM) Communication Setup-2025 e-admit card.
  • Log in with your registered credentials.
  • Check your name, roll number, exam centre, shift and photograph.
  • Download the e-admit card and take at least two printouts.

Roll number details and the download link will also be sent to your registered mobile number and e-mail ID. The admit card will not be sent by post.

BSF HC Admit Card Roll Numbers: CBT and BSF

Every candidate gets one unique CBT Roll Number in addition to the BSF Roll Number, and both appear on the e-admit card. The CBT Roll Number is used only to log in to the system on the day of the test. The BSF Roll Number is used for the rest of the recruitment process.

Documents to Carry with Your BSF HC Admit Card

  • A printout of the e-admit card. No candidate is allowed in without it.
  • Original photo ID proof, as mentioned on the admit card.
  • An extra copy of the e-admit card for future reference, since the original is deposited after the CBT.

Important Exam Day Instructions

  • Reach the centre at the reporting time so that entry formalities and the compulsory physical frisking go smoothly.
  • Write your roll number on the rough sheet provided. It must be deposited with the admit card after the exam.
  • Do not leave your system or the test hall before the scheduled end of the CBT. Doing so can cancel your candidature.
  • Disclosing, copying or storing test content is serious misconduct and leads to disqualification and possible police action.
  • Check your exam centre on the admit card carefully. For administrative reasons, the centre may differ from the one you chose in the application.

Practice for the BSF HC Exam with the Mock Test

BSF advises candidates to attempt the demo mock test on the official BSF website to get used to the CBT interface. The mock questions need not follow the prescribed syllabus and are only for practice. To prepare for the written paper, also read our guide on the Constable GD recruitment scheme and PST/PET process.

BSF HC Answer Key and Objection Management

After the CBT, an objection management link will open. Candidates can view their responses and the answer key about 3 to 4 days after the exam by logging in to the portal. Objections must be submitted only through the online response link, with documentary evidence, within 3 days of the window opening. Objections sent by any other channel will not be considered. The exact dates will be posted on bsf.gov.in.

Selection Process and Normalization

  • Qualifying candidates are limited to six times the number of advertised vacancies for each post.
  • A separate merit list will be prepared for HC (RO) and HC (RM) for the third phase of the examination.
  • Normalization will be applied to scores because the exam runs in multiple shifts.
  • Candidature is purely provisional. False information on fee, age, caste category or qualification can lead to rejection at any stage, even after appointment.
