Who Cannot Apply

  • Candidates already registered and trained under these schemes.

Selection Process

BBMB picks apprentices from the apprenticeship portal database (NAPS/NATS). The merit list for the BBMB Dhulkote apprentice posts covers all applicants. It uses the percentage of marks in 10th class and ITI. There is no interview and no written exam.

Preference in Selection

  3. Seats still left are filled on open merit.

If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate gets preference. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed matriculation earlier comes first. Reservation follows the Apprentice Act 1961 and its amendments.

BBMB will upload the result on its website through the office of the System Software Manager, Chandigarh. The competent authority decides the place of training within the Construction Division, Dhulkote. Requests for a specific place are generally not considered.

Should You Apply?

The BBMB Dhulkote apprentice vacancy suits ITI Lineman holders with good 10th and ITI marks, since marks alone decide selection. An apprenticeship is training under a contract registered on NAPS. It differs from regular employment, so candidates who want a salaried job should look elsewhere. Candidates who already did an apprenticeship elsewhere cannot apply.

Only 7 posts exist, and contracts go out as vacancies arise, so joining may not be immediate. The authority also fixes the place of training. Candidates in North Bengal, Sikkim or the North East should weigh the trip to Ambala. Those who cannot relocate can compare this vacancy with the latest jobs across India.

This is added context, not part of the official notice. Confirm with the official website.
