Eligibility Criteria for NPCC Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
- Site Engineer (Civil / Electrical): Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (regular course) from a university or institute recognised by UGC or AICTE.
- Sr. Associate – Finance: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / PG in a relevant discipline.
- Sr. Associate – HR: MBA (HR) or Post Graduation in HR. MBA/PG for Finance and HR posts must be of minimum two years’ duration.
- Sr. Associate – Law: Full-time three-year LLB or five-year integrated law degree.
- Sr. Associate – IT: MCA or B.Tech (CSE/IT).
- Jr. Engineer (Civil): 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (regular course).
- Assistant (OS): Graduate in any discipline with computer typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Assistant (OS) – Finance: B.Com from a recognised university or institute.
Experience and Age Limit
The required experience is NIL for all posts, so freshers can apply. The upper age limit is 40 years as on 30 September 2026. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules (see DoPT for reservation norms).
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates get a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹33,750 (Site Engineer and Sr. Associate), ₹25,650 (Jr. Engineer) or ₹25,000 (Assistant). The company also pays employer’s PF contribution at 12% and a fixed medical allowance of ₹1,250 per month. Candidates posted in the North East Region (North East Zone and Tripura Zone) receive an extra 12.5% of remuneration, and those posted in Bangalore get an extra 5%. The Selection Committee may offer higher pay based on relevant work experience.
Application Fee
General and OBC candidates must pay ₹500 per application through the payment gateway. SC, ST, PwBD, EWS and Ex-Servicemen candidates pay nothing. The fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process
NPCC will decide the selection method based on the response received. Candidates are likely to be shortlisted for a personal interview or another suitable method, and an offer of appointment follows. Selected candidates must also be medically fit and may be posted anywhere in India.
