1. One of the following:
   • Four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate, including the B.Ed component, OR
   • Bachelors / Honours degree from a recognised institution with at least 50% marks in English, combination of subjects as well as in the aggregate, plus B.Ed–M.Ed from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks, or a one-year B.Ed (Special Education) from an RCI-recognised institution with at least 50% marks, OR
   • Post-graduation in English / any specialisation in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade, provided the candidate studied the subject at graduation level, plus a three-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks.
2. Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper II conducted by the Government of India.
3. Competence to teach through English and Hindi.

Selection process
