- Visit the official RBI website, www.rbi.org.in.
- Open the notice titled “Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025 – Display of Roll Numbers of Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates.”
- Click the link for the centre-wise list of roll numbers of provisionally shortlisted candidates.
- Find the roll number for the exam centre where the candidate appeared.
No login credentials are needed for this list, since it shows roll numbers by centre rather than an individual login-based result. Candidates should save or print the list while it is live, since result links are often taken down after some time.
Candidates who applied through the Kanpur or Lucknow Recruitment Offices will not find their result here. The notice states this result will be declared shortly, separately.

What happens next
The list is provisional. As per the notice, it is subject to the candidate clearing the LPT, being found medically fit, and submitting acceptable documents for age, educational qualification, category and caste certificate, in the Government of India’s approved formats. A relieving letter from the previous employer is also needed where it applies. The LPT is qualifying in nature, and only candidates who qualify it will be considered for appointment.
RBI states that in the absence of the required certificates and documents, a candidate may not be appointed. The Bank’s decision on all matters relating to the selection process is final and binding.
Individual marksheets and the category-wise and region-wise cut-off for the Main Examination will be shown in an interactive format on RBI’s website later. RTI (Right to Information) queries about the category-wise or region-wise number of candidates who appeared or were shortlisted will be taken up only after RBI completes the full recruitment process and declares the final result. RBI also states that the recruitment process has been outsourced to an external examination conducting body, which does not share question papers with RBI, so RBI cannot provide them under RTI.
Documents to submit
- All candidates: 6 copies of the Attestation Form, all in original, and 2 copies of the Biodata Form, filled in neatly.
- OBC (Other Backward Classes) candidates: the OBC Declaration in original, and a copy of the OBC Caste Certificate in the prescribed format.
- SC/ST (Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes) candidates: the SC/ST Caste Certificate in the prescribed format.
- PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates: a Disability Certificate in the prescribed format, issued by the competent authority.
- Candidates with less than 40% disability under Section 2(s) of the RPwD Act, 2016 (Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act) who used a scribe: a certificate on the candidate’s limitation to write, from the competent medical authority of a government healthcare institution, as per Appendix XI of the 16 February 2026 advertisement. This certificate must be dated before the online exam.
- Ex-servicemen: the NOC (No Objection Certificate) or Release Certificate, as given in Appendix XIII of the advertisement.
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates: the EWS Certificate in the prescribed format.
- Staff candidates: the documents above, plus a letter from the Administration Section (HRMD) of their Regional Office, CoD, or Training Establishment, confirming their eligibility to apply as a staff candidate and the status of any pending Vigilance and Discipline cases.
- Candidates who took any age relaxation: the relevant certificate for that relaxation.
Where and how to send the documents
Candidates should send a printout of the relevant proformae, completed, along with copies of the certificates above, to the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, at the Regional Office they applied for. Documents must go by Courier or Speed Post. They must reach the Regional Office within 10 days of the date the result was published. Candidates should write “Recruitment for the Post of Assistant – Panel Year 2025” on the envelope.
This step applies to candidates whose region’s result is in this list. The result for the Kanpur and Lucknow Recruitment Offices will be declared shortly, as stated in the notice.
