Assistant Professor, Aquatic Environment Management (Sr. No. 3)

• B.F.Sc. with a minimum OCPA of 5.50 out of 10.00, or 55% marks.
• M.F.Sc. in Aquatic Environment Management with a minimum OCPA of 6.50 out of 10.00, or 65% marks.
• NET is compulsory for Master’s degree holders, along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal.

General conditions for all eight posts

• All candidates must have passed the Matriculation exam in Punjabi language, from the Punjab School Education Board or an equivalent recognised board, on or before the last date of application.
• Minimum entry age is 18 years. Retirement age in this university’s service is 60 years.
• For Sr. No. 3 to 8, the selected candidate must sign a service bond at the time of joining.
• The probation period for Sr. No. 3 to 8 is three years. For Sr. No. 3, 4 and 8, the initial basic pay of the scale is paid during probation.

Selection Process

Selection runs on a merit score, followed by an interview.

1. The University scores each application using a merit card, based on qualifications, higher qualifications and experience.
2. For each post, the 10 candidates with the highest merit score are called forward. Candidates for Assistant Professor level posts (Sr. No. 3, 4 and 8) also give a presentation.
3. All shortlisted candidates attend an interview. Where this condition applies, a candidate must score at least 50% marks in the interview to be eligible for selection.
