How reliable is the APPSC Exam Calendar 2026
The Commission attaches three conditions to this entire calendar. All dates and months are tentative, and the date of advertisement, the start and the length of each exam can change if circumstances require it, or if a department has not yet sent its complete requisition. The exact date of every exam gets confirmed only in that exam’s own advertisement, not in this calendar. The Commission can also run a recruitment process for a post that this list does not mention at all.
What has already changed since this calendar was issued
Two rows in this calendar show how far a tentative date can move. Row 10 planned a single Common Group A & B Technical Examination for May 2026, combining Finance & Accounts Officer and Sub-Treasury Officer with five other technical posts. In practice, the Commission split this into two separate advertisements, both released in September 2026 rather than May. Part-I, Advertisement No. 04/2026, covered the Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, Sericulture and Dairy posts. Part-II, Advertisement No. 06/2026, covered Finance & Accounts Officer/Treasury Officer and Sub-Treasury Officer, four months later than this calendar’s plan. Rows 11 and 13 planned a standalone Assistant Public Prosecutor exam for June and July 2026. That post, too, ended up folded into the same September Advertisement No. 06/2026, alongside a post this calendar never listed at all: Assistant Director (Prosecution).
