Cut-off for the skill test or interview
The CBT cut-off in AEES recruitment 2026 is set by category. UR and EWS candidates need 60% or more in the CBT. SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates need 54% or more. If too few candidates qualify, AEES can lower these marks, but not below 55% for UR and EWS or 49% for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD.
The number called per post, in order of merit, is set as follows.
| UR vacancies in a post | Candidates called |
|---|---|
| 1 | 5 |
| 2 | 8 |
| 3 | 10 |
| 4 | 12 |
| 5 to 10 | Twice the vacancies (rounded up) plus 4 |
| More than 10 | One and a half times the vacancies (rounded up) plus 3, not below 24 |
For reserved vacancies, five times the number of vacancies is called.
Final merit
The final merit for AEES recruitment 2026 differs by post. For Principal and Vice-Principal, the merit list adds CBT and interview marks at 50:50 weightage. The candidate must score 60% (UR) or 54% (reserved) in the CBT and the interview separately.
For the other posts, the skill test is qualifying and works on a Go or No Go basis. It is a chalk-and-talk test of teaching skill on a subject topic. Only Go candidates are empanelled, in order of CBT merit. Reserved category candidates applying against UR posts get no concession.
The skill test or interview is held only at AEES, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. Mere qualifying in the CBT does not make a candidate eligible for it. The notice also states that no re-evaluation of the CBT is allowed.

How to Apply for AEES Recruitment 2026
- Open the online application portal at aees.onlineregistrationforms.com.
- Register with a valid personal email ID and mobile number. Candidates should not share login details with anyone.
- Select the post from the drop-down list. A candidate files one application per post. Within PGT, only one subject can be chosen. Within TGT, only one subject can be chosen.
- Fill in name, parent’s name, date of birth, caste and gender exactly as in the Class X certificate. Change of category is not allowed later.
- Upload scanned documents. The notice requires a proper scanner and rejects mobile camera scans.
- Pay the fee online before 22 November 2026.
- Complete all steps and print the confirmation page. An application without the confirmation page is treated as incomplete.
Candidates must not send the printout to AEES. They carry it, with a photograph affixed and every page signed, to the skill test or interview. The same portal gives the admit card and call letter, which AEES does not send by email or post.
Documents to keep ready
Candidates applying under AEES recruitment 2026 should keep scans of these papers ready.
- Recent colour photograph (.jpg, .jpeg or .png for Principal) and signature.
- Class X mark sheet or certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Class XII mark sheet, and graduation and post-graduation mark sheets and degrees as the post requires.
- B.Ed. or diploma mark sheets and certificates as the post needs.
- CTET marks statement for PRT and for TGT posts that need it.

- No Objection Certificate from the employer for candidates already in Government, PSU or autonomous service.

Should you apply?
The AEES recruitment 2026 notice suits trained teachers who hold the stated degree, a B.Ed. or diploma, and a valid CTET for PRT and most TGT posts. PRT is the largest single line with 89 posts. Principal and Vice-Principal need past service at set pay levels, so they are not open to first-time candidates.
The posting rule is the main trade-off. Selected candidates may land at any AEES school in India, and the notice does not allow a change of station. Probation runs for two years, and the notice allows termination during probation without reason. The notice also calls all vacancies tentative, and AEES can withdraw posts without refunding the fee.
Candidates comparing AEES recruitment 2026 with other jobs should also weigh the rules above. Posts with one or two vacancies, such as PGT History and TGT Marathi, leave less room per category. Candidates who prefer a posting near home can look at other government job notifications alongside this one. This is added context, not part of the official notification. Confirm with the hiring office.
