Should you apply?

Accounts Officer and Accountant posts in NIHFW recruitment 2026 go only to serving officers, so candidates outside government or public sector service cannot apply. Programmer also opens to direct recruits, but only after the Institute fails to find a suitable deputation candidate. That gives direct recruits a narrower chance.

Deputation is temporary. The notice caps it at 3 years in the ordinary course, so an officer should weigh the move against the parent post. The notice gives no applicant numbers, so the level of competition cannot be measured.

Appointed candidates come under the New Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 1 January 2004. Employees in government service should start the paperwork early, since the Head of Department certificate takes time. This NIHFW recruitment 2026 suits officers who already work in accounts or computer systems and want a posting at a central health institute.
