Minimum marks required

Selection process
Selection has three stages, with fixed weightage given to each. Candidates should note the qualifying marks in the Computer Based Test differ by category.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Multiple-choice questions in Hindi and English, held at centres decided by NSL. Weightage: 70%.
- Group Discussion (GD): Held discipline-wise and category-wise, in batches. Weightage: 15%.
- Interview: Weightage: 15%.
Minimum qualifying marks in CBT to be shortlisted for GD & Interview: 40 marks for SC/ST/PwBD, 45 marks for OBC-NCL, 50 marks for UR/EWS. Candidates are called for GD & Interview discipline-wise and category-wise in a ratio of 1:3 based on CBT marks; if candidates are tied at the cut-off, all of them are called even if the ratio is exceeded.

Rs. 500/- (non-refundable), to be paid by all candidates.
