APSC JE Electrical eligibility diploma

• Candidate must hold a 3-year Diploma specifically in Electrical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.

• A valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes OR an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be accepted as domicile proof.

Age Limit (as on 1st of January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxations:

Age proof will be accepted only from Class X / Class XII Examination Admit Card / Pass Certificate / Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board where Date of Birth (DOB) is clearly reflected. No other document will be accepted.

For PwBD Category Candidates

Candidates must possess Benchmark Disability of 40% or more and produce a certificate issued by the competent authority. Low Vision candidates may be considered if they can perform with the use of aids and appliances.

For Current Government Employees of Assam

Candidates already in regular government service (permanent or temporary) must upload a certificate from the competent authority. Those seeking pay protection or continuation in service must also upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
