Stipend

Eligibility
Students must be pursuing a full-time Graduate, Post Graduate or higher degree from a recognised institute, in India or abroad, in one of these streams:
- Post Graduate Degree, B.Tech or BE in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Food Science and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Edible Oil Technology, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Agricultural or Horticultural Sciences, Industrial Microbiology, Toxicology, Public Health, Life Science, Biotechnology, Fruit and Vegetable Technology, or Food Safety and Quality Assurance
- Business Administration and Management, including policy regulation, finance, taxation law, marketing, psychology, human resource, economics, statistics, information and communication technology, entrepreneurship and related fields
- PG Diploma or Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations
- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related stream, open only to third and fourth year students, not first or second year
- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Public Policy or Public Administration, only for FSSAI Headquarters
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Law
- Bachelor of Commerce and equivalent courses
All applicants must be full-time students at the time of application. Students who have already finished these courses cannot apply. Only one application per candidate is entertained.

Selection Process
Selection for the FSSAI internship follows a short process.

- FSSAI may ask applicants for a short write-up or presentation as part of final selection.
- Nodal Officers at FSSAI scrutinise every application.
- FSSAI declares the final list of selected candidates, their joining date and internship tenure on its website.
Applicants who apply for one quarter and are not selected must apply again for the next quarter. FSSAI does not carry an application forward automatically.
