About FDDI Noida
FDDI, Noida, works under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. It runs design and management courses linked to the footwear, leather and retail industries. This falls under the site’s Government Jobs category. The notice names the School of Retail and Fashion Merchandise in its opening line, but the attached vacancy annexure lists both posts under the School of Leather Goods & Accessories Design.

Local context and how it compares
FDDI is filling these posts through interview only, with a fixed consolidated pay instead of a government pay scale. The notice states that pay scale rules do not apply to this ad-hoc engagement. That is different from most central and state government teaching posts, which set a defined pay band and allowances such as HRA. This is added context, not part of the official notification. Should you apply for FDDI Noida Junior Faculty Recruitment 2026?
FDDI Noida Junior Faculty Recruitment 2026 suits candidates with a postgraduate design qualification and relevant experience in Product Design or Leather Garments, who want short-term teaching exposure at a design institute run under a central ministry. It does not suit candidates looking for a permanent post or full government benefits. The engagement is ad-hoc, capped at 6 months at a time, with consolidated pay and no HRA, LTC or medical cover. Candidates with 3D design software skills or industry experience have an edge for the Product Design post. The trade-off is teaching exposure and government-institute experience against job security and standard allowances. Candidates exploring similar openings can also check the Teaching Jobs category.
