Library and Information Officer
- Master’s or equivalent Honours degree from a recognised university, in Indian History, Anthropology or Arts.
- Diploma in Library Science from a recognised university or institution.
- 7 years’ experience in a library of standing in India, preferably a museum library.
- Research experience, with published work in Archaeology, Art or Anthropology.
- The Board can relax these qualifications for an otherwise well-qualified candidate.
Head Modeller
- Degree or diploma in Modelling Sculpture from a recognised university or institute.
- About 5 years’ experience in a responsible position on sculpture models and allied work.
- Desirable: knowledge of preparing diagrams and scale models.
Hindi Translator
- Graduate or equivalent degree in Hindi, in addition to English, from a recognised university.
- At least 5 years’ experience in translation work in a large establishment.
- Desirable: knowledge of Bengali, and a Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute.
Modeller
- School Final or equivalent examination passed.
- Degree or diploma from a recognised art college, or comparable institution, with specialisation in modelling.
- At least 3 years’ practical experience in modelling.
- Desirable: knowledge or experience in museum work.
- This post is reserved for OBC (Backlog).
Driver-cum-Mechanic
- Class 10th pass from a recognised board. This is the only post in this recruitment open to 10th pass candidates.
- Professional driving skill, with thorough knowledge of car mechanics, general smartness and a permanent motor driving licence.
- 5 years’ practical experience in driving and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
