SSC Havaldar CBIC and CBN Result 2025 – PET/PST 8,071 Shortlisted

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the result of the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025 on 3 August 2026, under File No. E/15/2025-C-2 SECTION(E-11859). This result shortlists candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar only. The original recruitment notice for this exam was issued on 26 June 2025, and the CBE was conducted from 4 to 20 February 2026 across the country.

A total of 36,19,834 candidates had applied, and 8,04,633 candidates appeared in the CBE. Result and shortlisted candidates

The Commission has released a category-wise breakup of candidates provisionally shortlisted for PET/PST for the post of Havaldar, based on their performance in the CBE.

Notes given in the notice against the shortlisted figures:

• *The UR figure of 3,136 includes 300 EWS, 105 SC, 25 ST and 1,574 OBC candidates who have provisionally qualified at the UR cut-off.
• †The ESM figure of 693 includes 12 EWS, 19 SC, 1 ST, 294 OBC and 367 UR candidates.
• ‡The OH figure of 91 includes 11 EWS, 13 SC, 2 ST, 34 OBC and 31 UR candidates.
• §The HH figure of 77 includes 9 EWS, 5 SC, 2 ST, 29 OBC and 32 UR candidates.
• ¶The Other PwBD figure of 84 includes 6 EWS, 9 SC, 3 ST, 37 OBC and 29 UR candidates.

The shortlisted total of 8,071 candidates against 1,153 Havaldar vacancies matches the 1:7 shortlisting ratio stated in the notice. No roll numbers or candidate names are reproduced on this page — the notice itself does not publish an individual roll-number list along with these category totals.

The notice also states two separate items: the result of two candidates has been withheld on account of suspicious activity, 727 candidates have not had their results processed due to malpractice found in post-examination analysis (as per List-II of the notice), and results of 169 candidates have been debarred by the concerned Regional Office (as per List-III). Roll numbers for these are not reproduced here; candidates named in List-II may represent their case before the concerned Regional Office of the Commission, as stated in the notice.

Cut-off marks (category-wise and CCA-wise)

The Commission has published the cut-off in Annexure-I of the notice, broken down by CCA (recruitment centre/zone), post type, and category. Each row also carries the tie-break details — General Awareness marks, Session-I marks, and date of birth — used only when candidates are tied on Session-II marks, as per the tie-resolution order in Para-19 of the notice of examination.

What happens next

The schedule for PET/PST for the Havaldar posts will be made available on the SSC website in due course; a specific date is not mentioned in this notice. Candidates who fail to qualify PET/PST will not be considered for the post of Havaldar in the final result. However, if such candidates are also shortlisted for the post of MTS, their candidature for MTS remains valid. The notice states that the First Round of Tentative Allocation for both MTS and Havaldar will be declared together at a later stage, after PET/PST for Havaldar is completed.

The notice also confirms that representations received on the Answer Keys have already been examined and the Answer Keys modified where necessary, and that the final Answer Keys were used to evaluate this CBE. Final Answer Keys and individual marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the SSC website only after the final result of the examination is declared — they are not part of this notice.

If your name is not in the shortlist

This notice does not mention a re-check, representation, or RTI route for candidates who did not clear the Session-II cut-off for PET/PST shortlisting. The only representation route stated in the notice is for candidates listed under the malpractice list (List-II): they may represent their case before the concerned Regional Office of the Commission. Candidates whose results were withheld for suspicious activity, or debarred by a Regional Office (List-III), are not given a re-check route in this notice either.
