Selection process

The Commission will call three times the number of advertised posts in each category for the interview. A candidate who scores equal marks to the last called candidate in the written exam will also be called. The final merit list is based on the combined written and interview marks. If two candidates have the same total, the one with higher written marks is ranked higher. If both the total and the written marks are the same, the older candidate is ranked higher.

A candidate who gives incorrect information, hides information, or uses unfair means such as impersonation or cheating can be disqualified and barred from future MPSC examinations.
