Important links

Should you apply?

This post suits Post-Graduates in Social Science. It offers hands-on field experience with a government development programme, not desk-based research. The stipend and one-year contract work well as a stepping stone into development-sector careers.

It suits candidates who already speak the local language of one of the three blocks. The post does not suit candidates who want a permanent government job. The notice gives no path to regular appointment, and the District Administration can end the contract early for inefficiency or irregularities.

Competition is likely to be moderate to high. Only 3 posts are open. The qualification bar is specific, needing a First Class postgraduate degree, fieldwork experience and data skills.

This is added context, not part of the official notice. Confirm with the official website.
