Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the NEEPCO Executive Trainee posts include education and age requirements. Candidates should make sure they meet all the conditions desired by the employer before applying.

Selection Process – NEEPCO Executive Trainee 2026
There is no separate written test conducted by NEEPCO. if you have a strong GATE 2026 score, your chances of getting called for an interview are much higher.
- Scrutiny of Online Applications – Applications will be shortlisted based on GATE 2026 marks in the relevant discipline (Electrical/Mechanical, Civil, or Geology/Geophysics).
- Personal Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview covering General Knowledge, Aptitude for the Job, Extra-Curricular Activities, and Professional Specific Knowledge.
- Merit List – Appointment offers will be issued in order of merit. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate with the older date of birth (elder in age) will get preference.
