How to download the IBPS CSA call letter
- Open the call letter login page on ibpsreg.ibps.in.
- Select Hindi or English.
- Enter the Registration No / Roll No.
- Enter the Password / DOB in DD-MM-YY format.
- Type the captcha shown in the image. A refresh option sits below it if the image is unclear.
- Click Login and download the call letter.

CRP CSA-XVI Online Preliminary Examination pattern
The booklet linked to the IBPS CSA call letter sets the pattern. The test has 100 marks, three sections and one hour in total. Each test is timed separately.

English Language appears in English. Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability appear in English and the language of the State under which the application was registered. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails. A mock test link for the examination sits in the Important Links table.

Marking scheme and exam rules
The information booklet issued with the IBPS CSA call letter sets these rules.
- All questions are multiple choice. Only one of the five options is correct.
- Candidates must select the most appropriate answer and click it with the mouse. The clicked option is treated as the answer.
- Each wrong answer carries a penalty of 1/4 of the marks for that question.
- Candidates must score the minimum cut-off in each test and in the total to be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
- IBPS decides the cut-offs on the number of vacancies. Its decision is final and binding.
- The test runs for 60 minutes, but candidates may stay at the venue for about 150 minutes for entry, login, instructions and exit.
- The server sets the clock. A countdown timer at the top right shows the time left, and the exam ends by itself at zero. Candidates need not submit it.
- Candidates with a disability who are eligible for compensatory time get 20 extra minutes for every 60 minutes.

- Red: the question is not answered.
- Green: the question is answered.
- Purple: the question is not answered but marked for review.
- Purple with a green mark: the question is answered and marked for review.
An answered question that is also marked for review counts in the evaluation. Marking a question for review only shows that the candidate wants to look at it again.

Candidates should check the name, photograph, signature, date of birth, category and examination centre as soon as the IBPS CSA call letter is downloaded. A clear printed copy is safer than a phone screen at the gate.
