WBJEE DCAP Result 2026 Released — Phase 2 Round 4

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the WBJEE DCAP result for Phase 2 Round 4 on 4 October 2026. The new allocation list is available on the Decentralised Counselling Admission Portal (DCAP) at wbjeeb.co.in, under Notice_Phase2_SpecialRound_Round4.

The WBJEE DCAP 2026 Phase 2 Round 4 list covers undergraduate Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture admissions in West Bengal for 2026-27. Candidates can check it by logging in to the portal. The allotment stays provisional until the institute confirms admission after physical verification, which ends on 6 October 2026, 05.30 PM. WBJEEB released the WBJEE DCAP result for Phase 2 Round 4 on 4 October 2026 at wbjeeb.co.in. Candidates can check it with the User ID and password, or with an OTP sent to the registered email. Provisional admission against the allocated seat closes on 6 October 2026, 01.00 PM.

How to check your WBJEE DCAP result

1. Open the decentralised counselling portal at wbjeeb.co.in.
2. Click Candidate Login.
3. Enter the User ID and password, then click Sign in. For OTP login, enter the User ID, click Send OTP and use the OTP sent to the registered email.
4. Open the dashboard and check the Allotment status.
5. Review the Selection Opportunities displayed after login.

Candidates who forget the password can reset it with the registered mobile number and date of birth. The Provisional Admission Receipt can be downloaded from the dashboard only after the seat acceptance fee is paid.

What the allocation list shows

The WBJEE DCAP result for Phase 2 Round 4 is an allocation list. It is separate from the combined merit list.

The allocation list names only candidates who fall within the selection range of a college and course. Seats and reservation rules decide that range.

A place in a combined merit list shows relative merit only. It does not give a seat or a right to admission.

A candidate can receive opportunities in more than one college and course. Only one can be selected and locked within the notified period, and the rest lapse.

What happens next

The portal lists two stages marked Current after the allocation list. Both run on the dates below.

After the WBJEE DCAP result, candidates must select and lock exactly one option and pay the Seat Acceptance Fee of ₹2,000 within the notified schedule. Locking alone does not create an allotment. The allotment starts only after payment, and the portal then generates a Provisional Admission Receipt.

WBJEEB states that the fee is refundable or adjustable under its notified fee rules. If money is debited without a success status, candidates should report it. The helpdesk numbers are 9772864688 and 9147247106.

Candidates must then report physically at the selected institute. Final admission after the WBJEE DCAP result is declared is only confirmed by the institute on the portal, following document verification. Another person can report for a candidate only if WBJEEB or the institute permits it in exceptional cases.

A candidate who already holds an admission keeps it until the new admission is verified and confirmed. The old seat is then cancelled automatically, and the candidate cannot claim it back.

A candidate who is offered options but selects none by the deadline loses all of them for the rest of DCAP-2026. That phase counts as a non-response phase. Two such phases in a row lead to debarment from later phases.

Documents for physical verification

Candidates must report with the portal-generated Provisional Admission Receipt and the payment receipt. Each document below is needed in original, with one self-attested copy.

• Class 10 Admit Card or Birth Certificate, for date of birth
• Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets
• Valid OCI certificate, where applicable
• West Bengal domicile certificate, in the form given in the WBJEE-2026 Information Bulletin
• Valid SC, ST, OBC, EWS or PwD category certificates

If your name is not in the list

WBJEEB does not publish a separate waiting list. Candidates outside the selection range stay on the combined merit list and can be considered if the selection range is extended.

A candidate with no option in the WBJEE DCAP result is not marked as non-response. That candidate can join the next phase if eligible, after locking fresh choices there, because earlier choices do not carry over.

Seats still open appear in the portal’s vacancy list, and the site carries more admission updates for the state.

Is the WBJEE DCAP result final or provisional?

The allotment is provisional. Admission becomes final only after the candidate pays the fee and reports physically. The institute must also verify the documents and confirm admission on the portal. Payment alone does not confirm admission.

What happens after physical verification?

After the WBJEE DCAP result and reporting, the institute records the outcome on the portal as confirmed or rejected, with a reason for any rejection. Rejection of a domicile or reservation claim cancels the current allotment, but an eligible candidate can join the next phase. A candidate can file a grievance through the portal or helpdesk within the notified period.

Can I choose more than one college in WBJEE DCAP 2026 Phase 2 Round 4?

No. A candidate can select and lock only one option from the opportunities displayed. All other options lapse once one is locked. A locked option cannot be changed after the fee is paid.

What happens if I pay the seat acceptance fee but do not report?

The allotment lapses and WBJEEB debars the candidate from the rest of DCAP-2026. Any earlier valid admission that has not been replaced stays protected. Late reporting is not accepted in the ordinary course, so candidates should report within the notified period.
