ECoR PET Schedule 2026 – Download Call Letter

The ECoR PET schedule covers all 1,706 candidates shortlisted for Level-1 posts under CEN No. RRC-08/2024. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of East Coast Railway (ECoR), Bhubaneswar, released the notice on 29 September 2026. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) takes place on 8 October 2026 and 9 October 2026, as listed in the notice on rrcbbs.org.in.

RRC East Coast Railway has released the confirmed ECoR PET schedule for CEN No. RRC-08/2024 (Level-1 posts). A total of 1,706 candidates report on 8 October 2026 and 9 October 2026. Candidates must download and print the E-Call Letter.

ECoR PET Schedule 2026: Date, Time and Batches

The PET for all 1,706 candidates takes place at East Coast Railway Stadium, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar. RRC has placed male candidates in batches B-01 to B-07 and female candidates in batch B-08. Each day has four batches, with 900 candidates on 8 October 2026 and 806 on 9 October 2026.

Roll numbers for each batch are listed in Annexure-I of the notice on rrcbbs.org.in. Annexure-III says the PET is likely to run on 8, 9 and 10 October 2026, with 10 October as the block or reserve day. RRC will send short-notice communication by SMS and e-mail.

The E-Call Letter is the entry document for the PET. Candidates can follow more admit card updates on the site.

PET Events and Standards

The ECoR PET has two events. Event-I is the weight-carrying test and Event-II is the 1000 metres running test.

Each event gives one chance. Candidates must carry the weight without putting it down. Only candidates who qualify in Event-I can take Event-II.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen (ExSM) and Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAAs) are exempt from the PET. More recruitment notices are listed under latest jobs in India.

Instructions for Female Candidates

Batch B-08 in the ECoR PET is for female candidates. Every female candidate must submit a self-declaration on her pregnancy status when she reports.

A candidate who declares she is not pregnant can take part. RRC/ECoR takes no responsibility for injury, complication or health consequences from a false declaration, concealment or taking part in the PET.

A candidate who declares herself pregnant must produce a medical certificate. The Railway Medical authorities then conduct a confirmatory pregnancy test. If the test finds her not pregnant, she can take the PET.

If the test finds her pregnant, at any stage of pregnancy, she is declared temporarily unfit for the PET. Her appointment or empanelment stays in abeyance until confinement ends, and the vacancy stays reserved for her.

RRC re-examines her six weeks after confinement, on production of a medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner. If she qualifies and is medically fit, she may be appointed to the reserved post, subject to her merit and Railway Board rules.

How Candidates Find Their PET Slot

Each candidate finds a batch for the ECoR PET through the roll number. RRC does not send the E-Call Letter by post.

1. Open the E-Call Letter page on rrb.digialm.com from the Important Links table below.
2. Log in to the page and download the E-Call Letter.
3. Read the date, reporting time, venue and instructions printed on it.
4. Match the roll number with Annexure-I of the notice on rrcbbs.org.in.

Documents to Bring

Candidates must carry these documents to the ECoR PET. Aadhaar-based biometric authentication takes place before the test.

• Printed E-Call Letter
• Six (06) passport-size photographs
• Original Aadhaar Card, with the E-Aadhaar unlocked if it is secured
• One other original ID (PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving Licence), in case Aadhaar authentication fails
• Self-declaration on pregnancy status, for female candidates

Soft copies of ID proof are not accepted.

Reporting Instructions

Candidates must report on the date and time in the E-Call Letter. RRC does not entertain requests to change the date, time, batch or venue. Candidates should not ask for any change to the ECoR PET schedule.

Candidates should wear comfortable shoes and avoid bringing bags, luggage, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches or valuables. The venue has no safe-custody facility. RRC/ECoR takes no responsibility for lost items.

CCTV cameras cover the venue and the test. Candidates should be ready to stay for extra days if required. Candidature stays provisional, and RRC can cancel it at any stage for a discrepancy, deficiency or malpractice.

RRC does not appoint agents or coaching centres. Selection is purely on merit, and attempts to influence RRC can lead to disqualification and legal action. Candidates should use only rrcbbs.org.in and never pay anyone for a government job. Current government job notifications are on the site.

When is the ECoR PET schedule 2026?

The PET is on 8 October 2026 and 9 October 2026 at East Coast Railway Stadium, Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar. Batches B-01 to B-04 report on 8 October 2026 and B-05 to B-08 on 9 October 2026. The first batch on each day reports at 06.00 Hrs.

Can a candidate change the PET date or batch?
