Who runs India Job Alerts
IndiaJobAlerts.com was founded in April 2025 by Sandeep Khati, a B.Tech graduate in Computer Science and Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC) and a former Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Sandeep has been writing online since 2011, mostly for readers in the Northeast and North Bengal — a region whose job seekers are often the last to hear about central and state recruitment notifications.
IndiaJobAlerts.com started as a focused effort to fix that gap: one place where candidates from Darjeeling, Sikkim, the rest of West Bengal, and the wider Northeast could find recruitment news that had actually been cross-checked against the original notification — rather than copy-pasted from a WhatsApp forward.
We are a small, family-run editorial team based in Darjeeling, West Bengal. We mention this openly because we think it matters: you should know exactly who is behind the information you are relying on for your career.

How India Job Alerts verify every notification
We publish a recruitment notification only after it has gone through the following process:
- Source check. We accept notifications only from official sources: the recruiting body’s own website (e.g. ssc.gov.in, upsc.gov.in, wbpsc.gov.in, spsc.sikkim.gov.in), the Employment News / Rojgar Samachar, or an official social handle of the recruiting body. We do not republish from WhatsApp forwards, aggregator sites, or unverified Telegram channels.
- Cross-check. Key dates (notification date, application start, application close, exam date), vacancy count, age limit, and fees are checked against the original PDF — not against a third-party summary.
- Byline and timestamp. The post is signed by the editor who verified it and timestamped with the publish date. Any later edit is noted as “Updated on [date]” at the top of the post.
- Direct link to the source. Every post includes a working link to the official notification PDF and the official application portal.
Corrections
We make mistakes sometimes. If you spot one — a wrong date, a typo in the vacancy count, a broken official link — please email info@indiajobalerts.com. Verified corrections are made within 24 hours and a short correction note is added at the bottom of the post.
What we cover
- Central government recruitment — UPSC, SSC, RRB, IBPS, defence, PSUs, central ministries.
- State government recruitment — with focused desks for Sikkim and West Bengal, plus pan-India coverage of other state PSCs and departments.
- Private sector openings — IT, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and startup roles, with a preference for listings that publish salary ranges and clear eligibility.
- Apprenticeships, internships, and scholarships — including NATS, NAPS, and state-run schemes.
- Admit cards, exam dates, and results for the exams we track.
We do not cover paid job-guarantee schemes, MLM-style “work from home” offers, or any listing that asks the candidate to pay the employer.
What we do not do
To be clear about our limits:
- We do not process applications on anyone’s behalf. All applications happen on the official portal of the recruiting body.
- We do not charge any fee, sell premium memberships, or offer paid coaching.
- We do not guarantee selection. No website can.
- We are not affiliated with the Government of India, any state government, or any recruiting body. Where we use government names, it is purely to describe the recruiter we are reporting on.

Is IndiaJobAlerts.com a government website?
No. We are a private, independent publisher run by Sandeep Khati and a small family-run editorial team in Darjeeling. The official websites for each recruitment are linked inside every post.
Do you charge for anything?
No. The site is free to use. We do not sell job guarantees, coaching, or “premium” listings.
How quickly do you publish a notification after it is released?
Most notifications are published within 24 hours of the official release, after we have completed our verification check. Major recruitments (UPSC CSE, SSC CGL, RRB NTPC, etc.) usually go up the same day.
A date on your site is different from the official PDF. What do I do?
Trust the official PDF and email us at info@indiajobalerts.com. We will correct the post and add a correction note within 24 hours.
Can you help me with my application?
We cannot apply on your behalf or influence selection. Each post links to the official application portal and lists the official helpdesk for that recruitment.
Why a focus on Sikkim and West Bengal?
Because we are based in Darjeeling, and we know first-hand how often candidates in this region miss notifications that get heavy coverage in metros but little coverage locally. Pan-India listings are still covered in full — the regional desks are an addition, not a limit.
