The Commission keeps the candidature of all 542 candidates withheld on account of suspicious activities and malpractices. The roll numbers stay in the official list, and this article does not copy them.

Why 727 candidates were not processed

Para 9 of the 3 August 2026 write-up held back 727 results because of suspected malpractices in the CBE. This follows Para 20 of the Notice of Examination. Some aggrieved candidates raised the issue before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench (CAT-PB). The Commission then processed the results of all 727 candidates, in implementation of the partial relief the Hon’ble CAT-PB granted.

What happens next

After the SSC Havaldar additional result, the next stage is the PET/PST for the post of Havaldar. The other terms and conditions in the write-up dated 3 August 2026 remain unchanged.

PET stands for Physical Efficiency Test and PST for Physical Standard Test. Both are physical tests for the post of Havaldar.
