About Diamond Harbour Govt. Medical College & Hospital

6. Attend counselling with all original documents on 21 July 2026 (Tuesday) at 11:00 AM, at the academic building of DHGMCH.

This recruitment is not open to the general MBBS pool — only DHGMCH’s own 2020–2026 batch interns can apply, so competition stays within that internal batch rather than statewide. With only 2 posts on offer, small differences in final-MBBS percentage and honours marks will decide the merit list, so candidates should work out their score under the formula above before counselling.

A House Staff post gives 6 months of paid, hands-on clinical work in Anaesthesiology or General Surgery at the same hospital, which helps candidates building a record ahead of NEET-PG. The trade-off: it is a short, provisional engagement rather than a permanent job, and the pay follows a separate government memo instead of a stated figure here. Candidates from DHGMCH’s own batch with a strong final-MBBS score in these two subjects, who want to stay on at the same hospital a little longer, are the best fit.
