Selection Process

- Final Written Examination (Conventional Type) — tentatively March 2026 at Kolkata

There is negative marking for each wrong answer in the MCQ-type Preliminary Examination. Additionally, candidates qualified for the Personality Test must produce original certificates — Proof of Age, Academic Qualification, caste, PwBD status, EWS status, and so on — failing which the Commission will not interview them and their candidature will be cancelled.
The category-wise qualifying marks (aggregate of Final Written Examination and Personality Test) are: UR – 40%, EWS – 40%, OBC (A & B) – 38%, SC – 35%, ST – 30%, PwBD – 30%.
