SPSC Recruitment Notification 2025: The Sikkim Public Service Commission invites applications from eligible candidates for the Sikkim Services (Combined Recruitment) Examination, 2025, for recruitment to the following posts in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix:
- Under Secretary – Sikkim State Civil Service
- Accounts Officer – Sikkim Finance and Accounts Service

SPSC Recruitment Notification 2025 Examination Structure
- Preliminary Examination (Screening Test):
- Paper A: General Studies (200 marks, 2 hours, MCQ)
- Paper B: Comprehension, Reasoning, Aptitude, and Mental Ability (200 marks, 2 hours, MCQ)
- Negative marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying in nature; marks not counted for final merit.
- Candidates selected (20 times the vacancies) will proceed to the Main Examination.

- Main Examination:
- Paper I: English (100 marks, 2 hours, Subjective/MCQ, Qualifying)
- Paper II: General Studies I (300 marks, 3 hours, Subjective/MCQ)
- Paper III: General Studies II (300 marks, 3 hours, Subjective/MCQ)
- Paper IV: General Studies III (300 marks, 3 hours, Subjective/MCQ)
- Candidates qualifying the written exam (as per Commission’s criteria) will be shortlisted for the Personality Test (5 times the vacancies).
- Personality Test/Interview:
- 100 marks, scoring for final merit.
- Final ranking based on Main Examination (Written + Interview) marks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: As prescribed in the relevant recruitment rules (no relaxation permitted).
- Proof: Birth Certificate or Secondary School Leaving Certificate only.
- Educational Qualification: As per the recruitment rules of the respective service, to be fulfilled by the application submission date.
- Sikkim Domicile: Candidates must possess a Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority.
- Health: Candidates must be in good mental and physical health, free from limitations affecting service duties.
- In-Service Candidates: Must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

- Applications to be submitted online as per the format prescribed by the Commission.
- Candidates must pay the prescribed examination fee.
- A valid Admission Certificate is mandatory for appearing in the examination.

Reservation
- Reservations for various communities, horizontal reservations, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will be as per the Government’s policy (Notification No: M(14)/133/GEN/DOP dated 20.11.2018).

- The medium of examination is English for all stages.
- Candidates must indicate their preference for posts/services before the Main Examination; no changes allowed thereafter.
- Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of eligibility, character, and antecedents.
- Disqualification for misconduct (e.g., impersonation, using unfair means, etc.) may lead to permanent debarment or criminal prosecution.
- The Commission’s decision on eligibility, results, and other matters is final.
