How to check the result
- Open the official CAPF (ACs) 2026 PST/PET result PDF published by the UPSC.
- Search the document for the candidate’s own roll number. The notice does not use a login-based result-check system for this stage — the roll number list in the PDF is the result.
- If the roll number appears in the list, the candidate has provisionally qualified for PST/PET.
- Separately, and regardless of whether the roll number is found, qualified candidates must log in to the UPSC online portal within 15 days of this result declaration to update their details and upload supporting documents. This 15-day window is stated in the notice; based on the 25 August 2026 declaration date, it closes on or around 9 September 2026 — candidates should confirm the exact closing date on the portal.
- Candidates who have already uploaded all required information at the Common Application Form (CAF) stage must still log in and finally submit the online application form, then print it. This step is also required to generate the e-Summon letter and e-Admit Card for the Personality Test.
Candidates should save or print a copy of the result PDF while checking it, since result-related pages on official websites are sometimes moved or replaced once a later stage is announced. This is added context, not part of the official notice. Confirm with the official website.
Result and qualified candidates
The CAPF (ACs) Result 2026 PDF Notification lists 1,614 roll numbers as having qualified for PST/PET. The notice does not break this figure down by category, region, or force preference — it is published as a single combined list. In line with site policy, the roll numbers themselves are not reproduced here; candidates must check their own roll number directly in the linked official PDF.
Cut-off marks
The cut-off marks have not been released with this result. The notice only lists qualifying roll numbers for PST/PET and does not state category-wise or overall cut-off marks. Check the official website for updates.
What happens next
Candidates who have qualified for PST/PET must complete two separate actions, both drawn from the notice:
- Update details on the UPSC portal. Within the 15-day window described above, candidates must log in to upsconline.nic.in and update their correspondence/permanent address, higher educational qualification, employment details or service experience, service allocation details from any earlier CAPF (ACs) exams, force preference, marital status, parental details, debarment information, and the OBC/EWS annexure or socio-economic questionnaire, wherever applicable.
- Keep original certificates ready. Candidates must produce original certificates for age, educational qualification, community, and EWS status, among others, at the time of the Personality Test. Candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen reservation must hold certificates issued on or before 12 March 2026, the closing date of the CAPF (ACs) Examination, 2026 application.

The Physical Standards Test/Physical Efficiency Test itself will be conducted by the Sashastra Seema Bal. SSB will announce the date, time and venue for each candidate on its recruitment website, http://recruitment.ssb.gov.in, and will also send the e-Admit Card through this website and to the candidate’s registered email, including the spam folder. Candidates must carry the e-Admit Card, a hard copy of the finally submitted Detailed Application Form (DAF), and a photo ID such as Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Passport or Voter ID card at the PST/PET centre.
If an e-Admit Card for PST/PET is not received in time, candidates may contact the HQ, DG, Sashastra Seema Bal at Telephone No. 011-26193929, or by email at digrecruit.fhq@ssb.gov.in and comdtrectt.ssbdel@ssb.gov.in, or write to UPSC directly. Candidates who need to report a change of address should use the same SSB contact details, or write to HQ, DG, Sashastra Seema Bal, East Block-V, Sector-1, R.K. Puram, New Delhi-110066.
If your name is not in the list
The notice does not offer a re-check, representation or RTI route for candidates who did not qualify for PST/PET at this stage. It states only that the marksheets of candidates who have not qualified will be uploaded to the Commission’s website after the final result is declared, following the Personality Test, and will stay available there for 30 days. Candidates will be able to access their marksheet by entering their roll number and date of birth. Printed copies can be requested from UPSC within 30 days of the online display, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope; requests made after that window will not be entertained.
Candidates who did not qualify this time can look at other current openings on the Latest Jobs (All India) section of the site.
UPSC also runs a Facilitation Counter at its campus for queries on examinations and results, available on working days between 10 AM and 5 PM, in person or by phone at 011-24041001 or 011-40303444. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the UPSC campus.
