Eligibility for Bank Resource Person (BRP)

• Must be a retired bank employee who held Scale-III or above.

• Age: between 25 and 50 years as on the date of notification of the selection process. Age relaxation of 5 years applies for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, except for retired officials.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in rural development, with a government or non-government organisation.
• Knowledge of Bengali or the local vernacular language is preferable.
• Computer knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, supported by a course certificate.
• Preference given to community-level personnel and female candidates.
• Candidates must not currently hold office in an Upa Sangha, Sangha or Maha Sangha; must not be an employee or office-bearer of a Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI); and must not be working as an ICDS worker, ASHA activist, or employee of any government or non-government organisation.
• Local candidates, from within the district, are preferred.

Selection Process

Neither post involves a written exam. Selection is based on the application, followed by an interview.
