• Security and SOC operations: monitor and triage security alerts (SIEM), validate true and false positives, carry out initial incident response and run vulnerability scans
• Network operations: configure and install routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers, and implement and tune LAN, WAN and VPN networks
• Network security: manage firewall rules, ACLs and IPS with the security teams
• Servers and storage: install, configure and manage physical and virtual servers, administer storage, manage backups and apply security patches
• Infrastructure monitoring: use EMS tools to respond to alerts, log and prioritise incidents in the ITSM system and do L1 troubleshooting within SLAs
• Development: design, develop, test and maintain applications, build APIs and backend services, and work with DevOps teams on CI/CD and container orchestration
• Documentation: maintain technical documents, design documents, network diagrams and coding standards
