- The stipend is ₹30,000 a month for one year. No other allowance is paid.
- FSL posts interns at its divisions or on Mobile Forensic Vans at the sole discretion of the Principal Director. Interns work 24 X 7 in a shift manner.
- Interns get 8 Casual Leave and 2 Restricted Holidays in a calendar year, or in proportion to the tenure. No earned leave, medical leave or other leave is allowed.

- An intern who fails to give one month’s prior notice must refund one month’s stipend.
- Courts at Delhi or New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
After the internship
The FSL Delhi internship carries no promise of a job. Selected candidates must submit an undertaking that they will not claim regularisation of service or file any court case for it. The declaration on the application form carries the same condition.
Should you apply?
The internship suits fresh M.Sc. pass candidates who want hands-on forensic training in Delhi. Engineering graduates in computer science and electronics can also apply to the Cyber Forensic and Physics (A/V) divisions. It does not suit candidates who need a regular job, since the notice offers no absorption.
The 24 X 7 shift work and the posting at the sole discretion of the Principal Director are real trade-offs. The FSL Delhi internship also runs for one year only. Candidates who need a permanent post can browse current jobs across India.
