SSC has told candidates appearing for its computer-based exams that they must not restart, shut down, change or replace the computer or monitor at their centre under any circumstances. If a candidate faces a genuine technical problem, they must report it to the invigilator or centre staff immediately, rather than trying to fix it themselves. Action can be taken against any candidate or exam staff member who intervenes with the equipment without authorisation.
What the advisory prohibits
Unless carried out by authorised examination staff following the prescribed procedure, SSC has strictly prohibited candidates and exam functionaries from:

What to do if you face a technical problem
According to the advisory, a candidate who has a technical problem with the computer system — either before the exam starts or during the exam — must report it immediately to the Centre Staff, Invigilator, or other authorised exam staff. The staff will assess the problem and take action only with the permission of the authorised representative of the Regional Office, Investigating Officer, or Centre Coordinator, as applicable. Candidates are not permitted to resolve the issue on their own.
