NBEMS Recruitment 2026

Location and how it compares

The NBEMS office is at Sector-9, opposite the Dwarka District Court, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075. The notification names Dwarka Sector 10 as the nearest metro station, which is on the Blue Line and connects directly to central Delhi, Noida and Gurugram side routes. Candidates coming from Old Delhi, New Delhi or Nizamuddin railway stations can reach Dwarka by metro in roughly an hour, and the venue is a short ride from the metro stop.

Added context, not part of the official notification: contract Research Associate posts like these are common across central bodies in Delhi, but they usually draw heavy competition for the general and medical posts because of the central-government tag and the Delhi location. The specialised posts — cyber security, finance, procurement, estate — often see fewer eligible applicants because of the experience bar. Confirm competition levels with the hiring office; this is only a general note based on similar past recruitments.

Important dates

The walk-in interaction is spread across three days by post. Candidates must report on the correct date for their post, and no candidate is allowed to report after 12:00 Noon on the day.

Should you apply?

This recruitment fits candidates who want central-government work experience in a respected medical examination body, and who are comfortable with a contract job rather than a permanent one. The RA-I salary of ₹50,000 a month, or ₹95,000 for the two RA-II posts, is decent for a Delhi-based contract role, and the setting adds a strong line to a resume.

It does not fit candidates looking for job security. The notification is clear that the engagement gives no right to regularisation or permanent absorption, no allowances beyond the fixed monthly amount, and no accommodation. The contract is temporary and can be ended with one month’s notice on either side. RA-I posts run for a maximum of 3 years and RA-II for 5 years.

Added context, not part of the official notification: the honest trade-off is time. A few years here builds central-body experience, but it does not convert into a permanent government post on its own. Candidates weighing this against a permanent-track exam should factor that in. Confirm all service terms with NBEMS.

FAQs

Can a candidate apply for more than one post?.

This is not mentioned in the official notification. Since posts are scheduled on different days, candidates should confirm with the NBEMS office before planning to attend for more than one post

Does the salary stay fixed?

The monthly amount is consolidated. The notification provides for up to a 5% annual increment as a ceiling, given on satisfactory completion of one year and subject to a performance review.

What career growth can a Research Associate expect?

(Added context, not from the notification) The role builds administrative or technical experience inside a central examination body. Many candidates use such contract stints to strengthen applications for permanent central or state government posts later. Confirm specifics with the hiring office.
