Terms of Engagement You Should Know Before Applying

  • This is a purely contractual role for one year initially, renewable based on performance — not a regular government appointment, and it doesn’t create any claim to future permanent employment at IIP.
  • Remuneration stays fixed for the entire contract term with no in-between increments, and is subject to Professional Tax/TDS deductions.
  • Selected candidates may need to work weekends, holidays, or beyond regular hours without extra pay.
  • Taking up any other assignment alongside this one, or advising third parties on matters that conflict with IIP’s interests, isn’t permitted during the contract.
  • Either side can end the engagement — IIP with 30 days’ notice and no stated reason, or the candidate with 3 months’ notice. Cases of misconduct or unfitness can lead to immediate termination.
  • IIP is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage a candidate may suffer while carrying out assigned duties, including during travel.
  • The institute reserves the right to fill or withhold any advertised post, and won’t respond to queries about postal delays, interview outcomes, or non-selection.
