Should you apply for this SAIL IGH Rourkela Trainee?

SAIL IGH Rourkela Trainee programme suits candidates from Sundargarh district and other parts of Odisha who want paid, structured, one-year experience in hospital-support work. The Medical Attendant Training track, with 100 of the 112 total seats and a Matric-level qualification requirement, is the most accessible option for candidates with a school-level education. The Hospital Administration Training track may suit candidates who already hold an MBA, BBA or PG Diploma in a hospital-related field and want practical exposure to healthcare administration, though only seven seats are available. The OT/Anesthesia Assistant Training track is meant for candidates who have already completed a year of related hospital attendant training.

This programme is not open to candidates outside Odisha, and it does not lead to a permanent position at SAIL or RSP — the notice states plainly that it is for skill enhancement only. Candidates should also note that no accommodation is provided, so they will need to arrange their own stay in Rourkela for the training period.

This assessment of who each training track suits is added context, not part of the official notice. Confirm with the official website.
