This extra relaxation is not applicable to Sanskrit Education Department posts as it is the first such recruitment for these posts.

Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The written examination consists of two papers, each carrying 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours per paper. Both papers contain 100 multiple-choice questions. Negative marking applies: one-third (1/3) marks deducted for every wrong answer.

  1. Paper-I (100 marks, 2 hours): Art & Culture, History, Geography, General Science and Current Affairs of Rajasthan; General Ability (Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, General Mental Ability, Basic Numeracy, Data Interpretation).
  2. Paper-II (100 marks, 2 hours): Pedagogy, Mental Ability, Fundamentals of Computer, Programming Fundamentals (C, C++, Java, DotNet, AI, Machine Learning, Python, Blockchain), Data Structures, Computer Organization, Operating Systems, DBMS, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Network Security, Web Development.

Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

The OMR sheet has five options (A, B, C, D, E) per question. Option E must be darkened for unanswered questions. If more than 10% of questions are left with no option darkened, the candidate will be disqualified.

Selection Process

The selection process is conducted through a structured written examination followed by document verification. Candidates need to clear each stage to move forward.

  1. Written Examination (Paper-I and Paper-II)
  2. Document Verification and Eligibility Check
  3. Final Merit List based on Merit-Cum-Priority for department allotment

One important practical insight from the official notification: candidates must fill their department preference (Secondary Education or Sanskrit Education) at the time of online application itself. No change in preference order will be accepted later. Allotment will be done category-wise, on Merit-Cum-Priority basis. Therefore, carefully decide your department choice before submitting the application.

Application Fee

The one-time registration (OTR) fee is paid through SSO portal via e-Mitra kiosk, CSC centre, net banking, debit card or credit card.

  • General / Creamy Layer OBC / MBC: ₹600
  • Rajasthan Non-Creamy Layer OBC / MBC / EWS / SC / ST: ₹400
  • All Persons with Disabilities: ₹400

Candidates from other states (even if belonging to reserved categories elsewhere) will be treated as General category and must pay ₹600. Candidates who have already paid the OTR fee earlier do not need to pay again.
