General Eligibility (Para 2 of notification)
- M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc.(Engg.) or equivalent: First Class with minimum 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA/CPI on 10-point scale
- M.Sc.: First Class with minimum 65% aggregate or 6.84 CGPA/CPI on 10-point scale
- Mandatory: Qualified through CSIR-UGC-NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments/Agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.)
Age Limit
Maximum 28 years as on December 14, 2025. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and as per GoI rules for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, widows etc.

Salary
₹37,000/- per month (JRF), increasable to ₹42,000/- per month (SRF) + HRA (if hostel not provided) + medical benefits for self as per rules.
Selection Process
Initial screening based on academic performance and parameters given in the online application. Only screened-in candidates will be called for interview (call letter via email only). Interview result will be announced on the ISRO website.
