Indian Army Recruitment-Selection Process
Here’s how candidates will be selected:
- Shortlisting of Applications: Applications are screened based on JEE Mains CRL and PCM percentage (exact, up to two decimals).
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a five-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar, consisting of two stages.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB undergo a medical exam at the nearest Military Hospital.
- Merit List: Final selection is based on SSB marks, subject to medical fitness and vacancy availability.
- Joining Letter: Issued to merited candidates for training at Cadets Training Wing and IMA.

- Visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and click the “Online Application” button.
- Fill in your particulars in the online form and read the terms and conditions before submitting.
- Make corrections, if needed, before the application deadline (June 12, 2025). Submit the form each time you edit.
- After submission, receive a confirmation dialog box. Print two copies of the application with the Roll Number (available 30 minutes after the application closes).
- Carry one self-attested copy of the application to the SSB interview, along with:
- Original Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth).
- Original Class 12 certificate and mark sheet.
- Original ID proof.
- Copy of JEE (Mains) 2025 result.
- 20 self-attested passport-size photographs.
- Submit two self-attested photocopies of the above certificates at the SSB interview. Retain the second application copy for reference.
- Submit only one application to avoid cancellation.
