Age Limit (General Category)
- DGM (Grade D): 35–45 years
- AGM (Grade C): 28–40 years
- Manager (Grade B): 25–35 years
- Security Officer (Grade O): Maximum 50 years (inclusive of all relaxations)
Age Relaxation (only for IS-Audit, IT & MIS, Risk Management-IS posts)
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- 1984 Riot Affected: 5 years
- Relaxation is cumulative with only one additional category.

Educational Qualification & Experience (Post-wise)
- Audit – IS (Grade C): B.Tech/BE in IT/Electronics/Computer Science or any Graduate + valid CISA. Min 7 years officer experience (4 years in IS Audit/Cyber Security Audit).
- Risk Management – Information Security:
- Grade C: BE/B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE) + 7 years experience (4 years in InfoSec/Cyber Security).
- Grade B: MCA/MSc (CS/IT) + preferred certifications (CISA/CISM/CISSP/CEH) + 4 years experience (2 years in InfoSec).
- IT & MIS:
- Grade D: Graduate in CS/IT/Electronics/AI/ML/Data Science + 10 years middle-management experience (7 years relevant).
- Grade C: MCA or equivalent (60% marks) + 7 years officer experience (4 years relevant).
- Grade B: Same qualification + 4 years officer experience (2 years relevant). Certifications like OCP, SAS, Python, CCNP preferred.
- Security Officer (Grade O): 10+2/Diploma pass. Retired Junior Commissioned Officer (Army/Navy/Air Force) with minimum 15 years regular service + Exemplary character in discharge book.
