Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in India OR equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of English Shorthand (minimum speed 100 words per minute).
- Good knowledge of English Typewriting (minimum speed 40 words per minute).
- Knowledge of Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operations.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Candidate should not be born before 02 July 1991 and not after 01 July 2005.
Age Relaxation
- SC / ST / OBC / DFF (Uttar Pradesh): up to 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen (Uttar Pradesh): 3 years + service period
- Physically Handicapped (Uttar Pradesh): up to 15 years
- UP Government Servants: up to 45 years
- Sportspersons (Uttar Pradesh): 5 years
Note: Candidates claiming reservation must be domiciled in Uttar Pradesh and produce valid certificates when asked. Only one concession (whichever is more beneficial) is allowed if you fall in multiple categories.

Selection Process
The selection has three stages:
- Stage-I (CBT – Single Shift)
- Part A: General Studies (100 MCQ, 200 marks, 90 min) – No negative marking
- Part B: Computer Knowledge Test (100 marks, 15 min) – Minimum 50 marks required
- Part C: Subjective Translation Test (100 marks, 15 min) – Minimum 50 marks required
- Stage-II: Shorthand Dictation Test (200 marks) – Minimum 160 marks required
- Stage-III: Interview (75 marks)

Yes. All Indian citizens can apply. However, reservation benefits are available only to Uttar Pradesh domiciled candidates.
